Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream and First Watch team up for a sweet cause during Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Month

ORLANDO, Fla. – February 1, 2026 – Breakfast just got a whole lot sweeter this February. In celebration of Eat Ice Cream for Breakfast Month, First Watch is teaming up with Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream with a limited-time collaboration that turns a brunch favorite into a scoopable treat – all while supporting pediatric cancer research and treatment in Central Florida.

The two beloved brands have created a custom, limited-time ice cream flavor inspired by First Watch’s fan-favorite Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast. The new Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast ice cream features a toasty vanilla ice cream base with a hint of brown sugar and cinnamon with swirls of dulce de leche, strawberry jam and is topped with spiced gingerbread cookie crumbles. The flavor is available throughout the entire month of February at all of Kelly’s Scoop Shops and select First Watch restaurants in the Orlando area, while supplies last.

“Our Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast started as a limited time offer and then quickly became a core menu favorite because customers couldn’t get enough of it,” said Shane Schaibly, Senior Vice President of Culinary Strategy at First Watch. “We had a lot of fun turning the dish into an ice cream flavor – it’s exactly what ice cream for breakfast should taste like.”

But this partnership goes beyond a sweet treat. Throughout the month, proceeds from the collaboration will benefit The Haley Center for Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, giving customers several ways to support local families:

• At participating First Watch locations in Central Florida: $0.25 from every Kid’s Meal sold and 100% proceeds from each scoop of the Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast ice cream sold will be donated.
• At all seven Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream Scoop Shops: Donate at the register all month long, plus 50% of proceeds on Tuesday, February 18th (5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.) will be donated.

“We are so excited to team up with our friends at First Watch to turn their fan-favorite breakfast into an ice cream flavor for such a great cause. At Kelly’s, we’ve always felt that being a local business means more than just serving scoops; it’s about showing up for our neighbors when it matters most. Helping the kids and families at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is a cause very close to our hearts, and we’re proud to use this ‘Ice Cream for Breakfast’ month to help fund the incredible care they provide right here in Orlando.”

“Partnerships like this show how powerful our community can be when we come together for kids,” said Justin Williams, president of Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. “Support from Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream and First Watch helps us continue advancing pediatric cancer care and research, while surrounding families with hope during some of their most difficult moments. We’re incredibly grateful for their creativity, generosity and commitment to making a difference for children right here in Central Florida.”
